Cultural Wellbeing Retreat
Cultural Wellbeing
Event Details
A two-night immersive CME retreat for clinicians wanting to deepen their understanding of te ao Māori in a safe, reflective and restorative setting.

About The Event
Cultural Wellbeing is a two-night immersive CPD retreat designed for clinicians who want to deepen their understanding of te ao Māori, while also having genuine space to step away from the demands of clinical work, reconnect and restore.
The retreat brings together experiential cultural learning, guided reflection, practical clinical application and wellbeing. Clinicians explore te ao Māori and what this can mean in everyday practice, particularly in strengthening connection with Māori patients and whānau and supporting more respectful, relational and equitable care.
The retreat has been created to be supportive and restorative, set in a nature-based environment with nourishing meals, comfortable accommodation, time to pause, private mirimiri and opportunities to connect with colleagues.
There is no expectation that people arrive with a particular level of cultural knowledge, as the emphasis is on curiosity, reflection, connection and practical learning that can be carried back into clinical work.
Registration costs $2000-3000 depending on your role.
